BUT MY MAIN CONCERN always has been Maithil people don't talk to their kids in maithili. It's necessary to spread this awareness that communication in family in your mother tounge is not insulting and it doesn't make your sons and daughters intelligent. All previous literary dignitaries from MITHILA or from any language were master of more than one language (including english); even though they were product of indigenous language schools and their parents hardly understood HINDI.
